There is a Mopar electronic ignition conversion kit for all 66 and up Mopar vehicles. These pieces can also be purchased individually. This converts standard point type ignition system to all electronic.
The kit includes a brand new stock electronic distributor assembly with correct vacuum advance, correct tan # 2444507 cap, black 1838516 rotor, Mopar Performance wire harness with clips P3690152, ballast resistor # 2275590, 4-pin Mopar Performance electronic control box (ECU) and installation instructions. These kits use original Mopar STOCK ignition distributor. If your original resistor is good – yes, you can re-use it with the kit. Take note of individual part numbers listed here for purchasing seperately.
Never change points again and get better mileage and much better performance. You can also scrap that old lean burn system with this kit.
